Does the doctor give me a prescription?
No, doctors cannot give prescriptions for Medical Marijuana. They give 'orders' or 'recommendations' to the 'Medical Marijuana Use Registry' which the dispensary you go to will have access to.
How long will the orders the doctor places with the Medical Marijuana Use Registry (MMUR) last?
The orders the doctor places with the MMUR are good for 210 days or 7 months. Then you'll need to recertify with the doctor for another 7 months.
